Katharine Gracey was raised in the Midwest. She started painting at an early age, where she absorbed the peaceful farm life of the Great Lakes. She earned her art degree from the University of Wisconsin. After that, she pursued painting as her main focus and specialized in acrylic, watercolor, and oils. She relocated to the wine region of Napa Valley, California and started various successful businesses including design and manufacturing of hand-painted furniture, a retail garden store, and a floral company. She was licensing much of her artwork. She is now a successful designer and artist. Katharine continues to explore new themes from the creative to whimsical realism. Her home and artwork in Jacksonville has been featured in Distinctly Northwest, Victoria Magazine, and Romantic Homes. Katharine’s work is inspired by Provence and Tuscan countrysides, and also by her native Napa surroundings, her posters, art and prints are filled with mix-and-match textures and sun-drenched colors that combine to create elegant, charming and whimsical vignettes and landscapes.

Her experiences and observations both on her travels and at home translate beautifully into a variety of unique gift and home products.
